Pakistani dramas have become extremely popular all around the world, especially our neighboring country India and western countries like UK, USA, Canada, Europe and Australia. Due to their stunning plots, wonderful dialogues and immensely great scripting people like to spend more time watching Pakistani dramas than watching those long never ending Indian TV serials or some unreal Bollywood movies. Pakistani film industry has also been evolving. They have been producing many entertaining and wonderful movies lately which we shall talk about later. For now let’s focus on some of the most amazing Pakistani dramas you would love watching.
We have carefully chosen six most liked Pakistani Dramas that went popular all around the globe. These dramas are highly recommended to our readers:
1. Humsafar – (2011−2012)
Humsafar is based on a novel by Farhat Ishtiaq. This drama always tops the list of Pakistani dramas wherever you go or whoever you ask. Humsafar has amazingly high ratings. It is directed by Sarmad Khoosat and starring two of the most famous Pakistani actors Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan. Their performance is breathtaking in this TV serial.
2. Dastaan – (2010)
Dastaan is based on an Indo-Pak partition story and the novel Bano, by Razia Butt. This drama is directed by Haissam Hussain and starring two leading artists Sanam Baloch and Fawad Khan. Dastaan has a great storyline in which they have shown the struggle of the people who helped in making of Pakistan.
3. Mann Mayal – (2016)
Mann Mayal is the only TV serial to the date that could break the high ratings of Humsafar. We have put it on # 3 because it has more negative reviews than the good ones. *controls his laugh*. According to IMDB reviews many people left watching the drama in the mid season but what makes it worth watching is the dialogues and performances by Hamza Ali Abbasi and Maya Ali that are highly enjoyed by people.
4. Udaari – (2016)
Udaari is my personal favorite Pakistani drama in which they have raised voice against a sensitive issue like child abuse. It is directed by Mohammed Ehteshamuddin and starring Ahsan Khan, Bushra Ansari, Samiya Mumtaz, Areesha Ahsan, Hina Altaf and Urwa Hocane.
5. Khuda Aur Mohabbat – (2011−2017)
“Ameer mazhab ko ek rasm ki tarha nibhaate hain aur ghareeb rasm ko kisi mazhabi faraiz ki tarha nimtate hain”
6. Shehr-e-Zaat – (2012)
